(meteorobs) Prelinary results triangulating fireball
I have gathered reports so far (Thanx George for forwarding the aol
reports) that point to a location Off the Jersey coast, possibly over Long
Island. I'm surprised there was not a mystery missile report with all the
nervous nellies off the southern Long Island Flight 800 crash zone.
The furthest away so far was from over 100 miles away to the NW in Sullivan
Cty NY.(Near MSV)
Furthest to SW is from Mercer Cty near Trenton (TTN).
Furthest eart is in Edison(Middlesex cty) in NJ...it was observed in front
of that vehicle which was within 10 miles of coast.
That's it so far!! Most reports are of Blue Green color, except one Orange.
Also one report was of a not illuminated central object with Green luminous
chunks aside it.
This was from the furthest east observer. Time seems to be 5:25 to 5:30 PM
(2225-2230 UT).
This is fun.
I'm about to leave work to get a jump on the Heavy snow now falling from
here in Woodbridge, so I will gather all the reports tomorrow and see what
we come up with.
