(meteorobs) Observation May 1/2 from Slovenia
Hi!
The last night in this dark sky period I observed for almost two
hours from a nearby location. Due to a (relatively) low altitude and a
high concentration of aerosols the sky was pretty washed out
towards the horizon but was good high up. Meteor activity was
much lower that two nights ago. The first hour had a fair number of
sporadic meteors along with a beautiful Eta Aquarid that shot all
the was from Cassiopeia to the setting Moon in a few seconds. The
second hour however was a dissapointment. Meteors were almost
extinct, only four were seen in this entire period. The observing
summary is posted below.
Clear skies and more meteors to you all!
